Grand Pré

During early 2020 I was working with Dr. Jonathan Fowler supporting coastal climate change adaptation planning along the coasts of the UNESCO landscape of Grand Pré in the Minas Basin. Our work summarized the breadth of human activities throughout the landscape—contextualized by relating these to relict geomorphological features below and surrounding the now agricultural marshland.

The UNESCO heritage landscape at Grand Pré holds an incredible wealth of natural and cultural heritage. In the images below, I’ve highlighted some of the views along the perimeter of the great marsh.
