Archaeology has brought me invaluable opportunities to visit and appreciate incredible places for the cultural and natural heritage they hold. Documenting, protecting, and presenting heritage is fundamental to modern archaeological practice.

This archaeological research portfolio overviews my current research directions, and significant past projects.


Remote sensing allows archaeologists and cultural resource managers to implement better monitoring and protection measures by non-invasively obtaining information about heritage resources and the geomorphological processes interacting with them.


Photogrammetry produces digital 3D models of objects from images. In addition to increasing access to digital cultural heritage—photogrammetry is now being widely implemented to rapidly document, monitor, analyze, and protect heritage resources globally.
